It all began as a little seed, an idea of a space in our city, Rotorua, to bring people together in ‘real life’.

We wanted to create a space that could cultivate community, creativity and connection. Over this last year that seed has begun to grow into something beautiful.

I see how creating with our hands gives room for conversation and a sense of settledness, to be in the process both of creating and in life.

I see how learning new things gives us a softness and openness. I feel like I have been given such a gift to tend the seed of White Street Studio. I am grateful.

Our heart is for White Street Studio to be a space where we all can slow down and create something beautiful, together.

We hope that as you are welcomed into the Studio you will find not only a seat at our table but you will also find a sense of community and creativity.
